Anti-corrosive Polumer coated corrugated steel pipe

As a type of corrugated steel pipe manufactured by heat-sealing an anti-corrosive PE (polyethylene) film onto a hot-dip galvanized steel plate (KS D 3506), which is the raw material of the corrugated steel pipe, it has higher corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and durability than corrugated steel pipes.

Manufacturing process

Anti-corrosive Polymer coated corrugated steel pipe is produced in the same manner as that of corrugated steel pipe by using a coated coil in which an anti-corrosive PE (polyethylene) film is heat-sealed.

Features
  • Long durability

    High-strength polyethylene resin is coated on galvanized plates with excellent corrosion resistance, so it has high chemical resistance and can be used in any conditions and environment.

  • High external pressure strength

    Polymer coated corrugated steel pipe is a ductile pipe to which load-bearing force is generated by molding corrugations in the steel plate. The load and reaction forces are evenly distributed around the pipe, so the load-bearing strength is enormous.

  • Simple consturction with lower cost
    • Light in weight (about 1/10 of the hume pipes) and easy to transport and install.
    • The small number of connecting parts required and simple connecting methods reducing the construction period.
    • Can be immediately backfilled, reducing the inconvenience of traffic and passage due to construction.
