Double wall polymer coated corrugated steel pipe

It is a type of corrugated steel pipe of which the inner circumferential surface is made of a flat steel plate, and the outer circumferential surface is made of a corrugated steel plate.
The inner surface is coated with PVC SOL powder on aluminum-zinc alloy-coated steel plate (KS D 3862); whereas the outer surface is manufactured by heat-sealing an anti-corrosive PE (polyethylene) film to hot-dip galvanized steel plate (KS D 3506), which is the same method as that of anti-corrosive Polymer coated corrugated steel pipe. This product has a lower roughness coefficient and external pressure strength than anti-corrosive Polymer coated corrugated steel pipe.

Features

It has a significantly higher water-permeability(i.e., roughness coefficient) and excellent external pressure strength than other products.
Moreover, as the interior is flat, foreign substances and soil cannot be not deposited, so it has long-term durability performance.

Manufacturing process for Double wall type Polymer coated corrugated steel pipe

It is produced in the same manner as the corrugated steel pipe using coated coil and PVC coated steel plate in which an anti-corrosive PE (polyethylene) film is heat-sealed.
